PERFORMANCE
Henry as a Musician
Henry has been playing the french horn since he was 15. He has had the opportunity to perform a concerto, play in Carnegie Hall, play with LA Philharmonic Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra Members, and even in concert with the legendary Hollywood horn player, Jim Thatcher (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Thatcher).
In addition to playing the french horn, Henry regularly plays the trumpet, mellophone, and flugelhorn. He marched mellophone in high school marching band, the Pacific Crest Drum and Bugle Corps, and the PCC Rose Parade Honor Band. He played trumpet in his high school's jazz band from 2019-2022 and played lead trumpet/flugelhorn on his high school's 2022 production of "Something Rotten!"
In addition to the french horn and trumpet, Henry also has experience on the clarinet, bass clarinet, contra-alto clarinet, and euphonium. Since middle school, Henry has also arranged music, composed music, and conducted ensembles in numerous school rehearsals and concerts.
Henry tests the horn that he would later purchase at Pope Horns, INC. in Boston, Massachusetts.

VII. From 20221-2022, Henry was the LCHS marching band Drum Major. In this video, you can see a head cam of him conducting his entire field show, "Diamonds".
